Willpower, grammar, politics and other annoyances

A few thoughts as of late...
  • I am trying to lose weight, but I have absolutely no willpower. I love food. And by "food" I really mean "junk food."
  • Related: I will dip anything in Cool Whip. Like, anything.
  • Somewhat related: it makes me crazy when people put periods and commas outside quotation marks. Yes, bloggers, I am talking to you. The rule: periods and commas always go inside quotation marks (unless you're British, apparently). See my first bullet for an example. Additional examples found here.
  • People should also learn the difference between your and you're. It's really not that difficult. Also, "ur" is not a word.
  • I make grammatical errors all the time. I'm sure it gets on someone's nerves.
  • I kind of want to go back to work.
  • I kind of want to be a stay-at-home mom for the rest of my life.
  • My sweet husband gave me a gift card for a massage in November, and I still haven't used it. What is wrong with me?
  •  I am addicted to Words With Friends. I will play for hours.
  • It's only March, but I am already so annoyed by all the political status updates on Facebook. Guess what? No one has ever changed their political point of view based on a friggin' status update. So just QUIT IT
  • I am kind of pissed that Parenthood already had its season finale. Good thing I have Smash to keep me warm on Monday nights.

What's bugging you today?

I'll just copy and paste your list into my own post. :)

Pretty much feeling all of those things, except the working part. I work 4 days (6am-4pm). It's not too shabby. My husband is a teacher so I don't really have the option- wah wah. :)

And lady, use up that massage! I won one at a trivia night, but when I called to make the appointment, it was for a chiropractor consultation-- totally bogus raffle prize. Ha.

Happy Tuesday!!

Hahaha! I love you! I do use "ur" when texting but I try to follow other grammatical rules when writing. I have a love/hate relationship with working. Sigh. I guess it's a mommy issue. And I got a gift certificate for a massage LAST JULY and still haven't used it! One time I had some time to kill and actually thought about it so I called to make an appointment and they put me on HOLD for TEN minutes!!!! I hung up. Sigh.

Great post! It's funny you mention that specific quote, "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels," as I saw this on Pinterest and I say this to myself multiple times a day. Most of the time my psyche chimes in and replies, "Yes, there are many things that taste as good as skinny feels!!!" Like guacamole, nutella, and desserts! The list is endless LOL.

Second, I keep hearing all this stuff about barre classes and I want to try it. Where can I take a beginner course?

Finally, Hunger Games is the bomb-diggity! You have to pick this book up and read it immediately!! I promise, once you pick it up and read the first few chapters you won't be able to put it down. The whole series is absolutely amazing! Movie comes out March 23rd, so get on it! ;)
