My First Virtual Trophy

One of my most favorite blog buds (Miss Erin) awarded my little ol' blog with a fun blog award.

I see these "virtual trophies" floating around in blog-land from time to time (like, when I'm stalking big-time bloggers with gazillions of followers), but I've never been on the receiving end. Well, the Liebster Blog award recognizes read-worthy blogs with less than 200 followers. (Hey, that's ME!!!)

Oh, and apparently, Liebster is a German word meaning "beloved" or "darling." Awww.

So, the whole point of this virtual trophy is to give a shout-out to your favorite bloggers and hopefully help them gain new readership. (Love!)

Miss Erin (The Swanky Southern Yankee) and  her hot beau, Mr. K.

Erin is so funny. If you want to laugh, I highly recommend reading her blog. Nothing is off limits, and I love that about her! She also has amazing style. And she's gorgeous. If she wasn't so nice and cool, I'd have to hate her. (Kidding, of course.)

2. Give the award to five other bloggers who have less than 200 followers.

Ashley at ABC: The Alphabet of Our Lives

Ashley and I are real-life and blog buds. She's one of my most favorite Nashvillians, and I love her sweet little family. Her blog chronicles her life as as wife and momma (lots of mommy tips, craftiness, and general motherbear ramblings). Katie is her mini-me, and she's pregnant with her second child - a BOY!

Lea at Keeping up with the Winstons

Lea and I met through the blogosphere, but since we both live in Knoxville, we need to become real-life friends ASAP. Her sweet baby boy (Mr. Noah) was born on the same day as my sweet baby girl. (Destined to be friends, right?) Her blog is all about life as a new mommy. She's also a very crafty lady, and posts tons of pictures of her DIY projects.

Holly at Where we can live like Jack and Sally

Holly's family is just too cute. Seeing photos of Mr. Haven and Miss Olive (her kiddos) make me smile everyday. She blogs about anything and everything; family, friends, parties, kid stuff, motherhood, weight loss. Everything!

Jennifer at Down with the Dearmore's

Doesn't that photo say it all? I love Jennifer's blog (probably because we have so much in common).  She writes about e'rything. Life, marriage, motherhood. (Sound familiar? Yes, we have much in common!) Also, her baby girl is just beautiful. Cuteness overload, people.

Andrea at The Skeen's

Apparently, folks who like Andrea's blog also like my blog, too (thank you Google analytics!). Andrea's blog is all about life as a wife and mom (to sweet Miss Hadley). Andrea is also a woman addicted to moving (kidding!). Andrea and her hubby are about to embark on another house-buying adventure! I love reading along and getting a little glimpse into their lives.
