People are so, so kind.
Seriously.
And I certainly don't deserve it.
(Seriously.)
Last week (in the midst of my little meltdown and health issues), I was reminded of how incredibly thoughtful people can be.
When I came home from work one evening (feeling tired, worn down and defeated), I opened the mailbox to find a little box of happiness addressed to me.
Oh, how I love getting mail. The good kind of mail, of course. The kind that doesn't have a a Bank of America logo, a perforated edge and typing that reads "pay XX amount by March 1." That kind of mail stinks.
The little package in my mailbox was not that kind of mail.
My sweet friend (and Zeta sister), Alicia thought baby Elena could use a little style in her life. But not just any style; Kate Spade style. (Insert squealing with delight here).
Inside that happy little package in my mailbox I discovered the most adorable silver cup fit for a dainty lady. And the design even features a cute little pink bunny (which is absolutely perfect for my Zeta legacy).

So. Stinkin'. Cute.
Elena will definitely be a stylish little thing.
Alicia's sweet gesture left me feeling very, very grateful. And her timing was perfect. That little box of happiness in my mailbox was just the pick-me-up I needed last week.
