I think Jonathan missed his calling. After an amazing homemade dinner last night I told him I would fully support him if he ever decides to quit his job and go to culinary school. If our mortgage would pay itself, I think he would probably mail in an application to the Culinary Institute of America tomorrow.
Unfortunately, the magic mortgage fairy has yet to visit our neighborhood... So, for now, Jonathan creates romantic dinners for two at the Collins Cafe.
The Salad:
Mixed greens tossed in balsamic vinaigrette with maytag bleu cheese, fresh pears, cranberries, and candied walnuts.

The Entree:
Pan seared sea scallops with warm bacon vinaigrette, accompanied with corn and portobello mushroom saute with leeks and fresh herbs.
The Atmosphere:
Gorgeous roses at our table for two. No special occasion needed... just because he loves me!

What a good husband you have! How sweet :)
Loved reading your blog. You make a lovely couple. If you have the time, do check mine out http://divanity.blogspot.com and since you're a blog owner, you can click on "follow this blog" on the right-hand side or even leave a message in the guestbook. Even a new bride needs a girly outlet. Hehe. Thanks!
